WORLD CUP 2010. WHERE IS EVERY ONE???
Th wrold cup 2010 has entered into the last group stage matches. The first big name to crash out from the group stage is FRANCE. Others are the much anticipated host nation South Africa, NIgeria and 2002 European Championship winners Greece. We have already got two mouth watering ties as Argentina faces Mexico and Uruguay faces South Korea. Will England, Germany, Italy, Spain qualify for the 2nd round of the competition???? The answer is coming hard and fast. People have your say about the massively dissapionting French side. Was is for the row?? for Domenech?? for FFF?? Well now nothing matters. The decision should have been made after 2008 Eupean champioship when France failed everybody’s hopes. The lacklustre qualifying stage for the World Cup 2010 was incading towards this obvious outcome. Couldn’t the French Football Federartion say it coming?? Might have been day dreaming. Anyways Les Blues bye bye. Is England gonna be the second Euorpean giant victim of the group satge??Who knows. But yes I will be here for the updates, news and some disscusion topics. And people, very sorry for the long absence.

Euro 2008 reaches climax(Final scoreline)
Semifinals
25/06/08 Germany(Schweinstiger, Klose, Lahm) 3–2 Turkey(Senturk, Borgal)
26/06/08 Spain(Guiza, Xavi, Silva) 3–0 Russia
Final
29/06/08 Germany 0–1 Spain(Torres)
Euro 2008 champions–>Spain
Runner-up–>Germany
Top goal scorer–>David Villa(4)[Spain]
Best goalkeeper–>iker Casillas[Spain]
The first semifinal between Germany and Turkey was a thriller roller coaster which can be said by only who witnessed it.Turkey took the lead through Borgal which was cancelled out after 4 minutes as Schweinsteiger equalized. The first half scored remain 1-1.Germany took the lead through Klose as Senturk equalized with 8 minutes to play.Lahm scored the decider in the 90th minute.
The second semifinal was an one sided affair with half time score of 0-0, spain went on to win 3-0 aginst Russia who were completely outclassed. Xavi, Guiza, Silva scored for Spain.
The final was a classy encounter though only one goal was scored.Spain scored through Torres in the first half by continuous pressure and attack. But after the goal, Spain switched to a more defensive form with all players back defending and only Torres up front. Marcos Senna of Spain missed a sitter at 81st minute, though which didnt affect the team as Germany failed to score. The Germans lost may be because of their dependability on Ballack who couldnt deliver.Spanish coach Luis Aragones identified Ballack as the pivot between attck and defence of the Germans and could cope accordingly to neutralize him.
Thus Euro08 has ended and the leagues are still one month away from starting. But stay tuned as so much transfer speculations is in the air and you can get the updates from here.
